Templates reference

Templates are how you stop re-deciding the same things. /organization/templates gathers five separate areas behind one tab, each defining the default shape of something you create over and over. Select an area in the left-hand list to switch between them.

The five areas

RAMS & reviews, in detail

This area is a page in its own right, split across five sub-tabs. It is the one most often missed, because the old documentation left it out entirely.

Sub-tab	What it holds
Method statements	Reusable method statement text, pulled into job and project RAMS.
RA templates	Reusable Template risks copied into every new job RAMS, so a crew starts from your standing hazard list rather than a blank page.
Risk matrix	The Likelihood scale and Severity scale (five fixed levels each), and the Risk bands that map a likelihood × severity score onto a colour and an acceptance decision. A live Matrix preview shows the result.
PDRA01 baseline	The standing PDRA-01 statements your operation declares against.
Form review	The form review policy: whether Self review is allowed, the Organization default reviewer, and per-document reviewer overrides.

Certificate templates

Two lists here, and only one of them is yours.

• Certificate templates — the ones you define. Each is a set of fields shown when someone creates a certificate of that type.
• Built-in templates — the CAA pilot-qualification types echoMike provides. Flyer-ID, A2 CofC and UK GVC are the pilot ones; Operational Authorisation, Operator Insurance and Operator ID cover the company.

A template can declare what it Counts toward flight clearance as, which is how a renamed or organisation-built template still satisfies a readiness check.

Permission roles

The three built-in roles — Manager, Surveyor and Viewer — are locked. You cannot edit or delete them, only duplicate one and change the copy. Anything you build here appears alongside them in the employee permission sheet.
