echoMike started with a simple frustration. Running survey operations meant juggling spreadsheets, whiteboards, a mapping tool, survey software and a calendar nobody trusted. None of it talked to each other.

We come from the surveying world, so we have lived the chaos of coordinating crews, tracking kit, checking airspace and getting clean data back to clients. echoMike Operations is the tool we wished we had.

Crew came out of the same frustration, one floor down. We were doing the people side of our own company badly, in the evenings, from memory. Holiday requests sat in an inbox, sickness lived in somebody's head, and there was a handbook nobody could prove they had read. So we built what we needed to run the place properly, showed it to other companies our size, and found they were all doing the same thing.

Both live under one name, the echoMike suite, because they came out of the same building and the same complaints. We are a small team in England, and we build alongside the companies who use this software. Features land because somebody running a real operation asked for them.

What guides the build

A few principles we keep coming back to.

Precision

Accuracy is not optional. Survey data, coordinate systems and quality checks are kept tight, so what you hand over holds up.

Less admin

Field time is the job, and HR admin is nobody’s job. We cut the paperwork around the work rather than adding a system to manage it.

Say what is built

Roadmaps are easy to write and hard to keep. We would rather tell you what is missing than let you find out after you have bought something.

Built with you

Features land because a real team asked for them, not because they look good in a pitch deck.

Why we exist

Teams deserve tools built for their work, not generic software bent to fit.

Everything in echoMike exists because a real team needed it. We would rather do a few things genuinely well than pad out a feature list.

Operations is free while we are in beta. Crew is taking beta signups. Either way, you talk straight to the people building it.
